About
Redefining Dog Wellness
Through Structure,
Movement, and Purpose
What began with the simple act of walking a friend’s dog in 2018 has
grown into Canine Cardio, a company of professional pack leaders that pushes the boundaries of dog exercise programming across the NOVA area. The journey to get here is, at its core, a long love story of canine and human connection—one of immense growth, resilience, and transformation for both dogs and their owners.
Who we are…
We’re Brittany Schneller and Daniel Ramos, co-owners of Canine Cardio — a dog wellness company built from years of experience, compassion, and a shared vision to give dogs what they truly need: structure, movement, and purpose.

Brittany Schneller
– Owner of Canine Cardio, Club Canine Cardio, and Canine Cardio Academy
Animals have been part of Brittany Schneller’s life from the very beginning. She started walking dogs at 13, later working in dog daycares, serving as a veterinary technician, and fostering for Virginia German Shepherd Rescue. These early years gave her real, hands-on experience with canine behavior, confidence building, and the importance of clear communication.
In 2015, Brittany brought home her German Shepherd, Charlie, who became the foundation of her personal pack and the dog who shaped her entire training philosophy. His steady leadership and working-dog mindset taught her the true impact of structure, purpose, and calm guidance.
In 2018, Brittany launched Canine Cardio as a solo dog-walking business. It quickly evolved beyond traditional walking into Cardio Park sessions and structured exercise fulfillment, long before her facility existed. This phase of the business laid the groundwork for her belief that dogs don’t just need movement—they need meaningful, guided outlets that strengthen their minds and bodies.
As demand grew, Brittany created Club Canine Cardio, beginning as a structured daycare built around rotational schedules, treadmill conditioning, confidence stations, and rest cycles. The success of that model led to the development of one of the first public dog gyms of its kind, giving dogs access to purposeful equipment and confidence-focused fitness work never before seen in the area.
To further support dogs and their owners, she launched Canine Cardio Academy, her balanced behavior and training program focused on communication, leadership, confidence, and thoughtful tool conditioning. She specializes in helping dogs who need more than obedience—dogs who need clarity, structure, and real-world guidance.
While Brittany didn’t found Snouts & Stouts, she now proudly owns and operates it, transforming it into a safer, intentional, on-leash café and community space.
Today, Brittany oversees a full canine ecosystem: structured daycare, a one-of-a-kind dog gym, behavior training, walking and exercise programs, grooming, and Snouts & Stouts. She remains a hands-on dog mom and behavior specialist who lives the same structure and purpose she teaches.
Her mission:
To help dogs and their owners build healthier, clearer relationships through structure, communication, and purpose-driven exercise.
